Happy Birthday!!! Who's birthday is it? It's The Waggly Tail's birthday! Today marks the 1 year anniversary since I formed my company!
They say the first year in business is the hardest...or maybe that's marriage...well anyway we made it through it and what a year it has been!
One year ago, I took a giant leap from my engineering degree and working in an office to follow my passion of working with animals. I'll admit the first few months were stressful and the work was slow. But over this past year, I've had the great opportunity of becoming the trusted dog walker/pet sitter to over 50 families in Bellevue and Mercer Island. This year, I've performed 1,263 visits with your animals and I've truly loved spending time with each of your pets. I can also no longer complain about not having enough work! My clients have certainly been keeping me very busy over the last few months!
I'm excited to watch my company continue to grow while providing you with the excellent service you've come to associate with The Waggly Tail. As always, I'm constantly looking for ways to improve the company and your experience, so don't hesitate to let me know if you have any ideas or feedback! I love hearing from my clients!
In the meantime, I've been trying to take it easy to gear up for the busy holiday schedule that lays ahead! So on that note, I'm off to the store to gather the ingredients for Pete's birthday cake! If you see Pete tomorrow, wish him a Happy Birthday too!! After all, I wouldn't be where I am without the incredible love and support from him and the rest of my family and friends!
