Time is seriously flying! The leaves are changing and the weather is cooler which means fall is right around the corner!

Anyway, with the changing of the calendar comes a new celebration for The Waggly Tail's Pet of the Month! And this month's award goes to...Captain!

When I first met Captain, he was this shy, timid, and very scared dog who jumped at the slightest noises or movement. It took quite a bit of time just sitting with him for him to get used to me and learn to trust me.

It has been quite an adventure as we got to know each other. In the last few visits though, he had really opened up and was being a silly, happy guy who loves to jump around and have a good time!

I'm super sad that Captain and his amazingly awesome owner moved to California, but I love getting updates of Captain's life and seeing pics of him lounging in the sun! Soak it up buddy!

You'll always have a friend with The Waggly Tail if you ever end up back in Bellevue! And congratulations on being the September Pet of the Month!
