Wow! It's August! I can't believe it's already August! Time is absolutely flying by and I hope everyone is enjoying their summer as much as I have been! I was fortunate enough to take a few days off last week to explore the beautiful city of Vancouver. I'd have to say biking around Stanley Park was my favorite activity! I highly recommend it!

Anyway, since it's the beginning of a new month, this blog post is dedicated to the August Pet of the Month and this month's award goes to...Beignet!

Beignet is a beautiful Himalayan cat who looks like she could be the next grumpy cat, but really she is such a sweet kitty to visit with.

I can always count on getting a fantastic greeting at the door from Benny when I enter the house and she loves getting her pet and purr time in! She's also my best friend when I bring out the wet food!

Beignet is also very respectful and allows her sister Ivy to have some one-on-one time to play with me but is always grateful when I come back to give her some more play time!

Anyway, congratulations to Beignet for being The Waggly Tail's Pet of the Month! Thanks for being such an awesome cat to hang out with!
